Alabaster

These are vintage Alabaster glass beads from Japan, circa 1940s, which I also bought from oldragonlair.  I love alabaster, and this necklace design is a decent first attempt, but I still think it needs something else.  It needs more personality, maybe something more like this from Ruche?

P.S. for pretty wooden jewelry for sale, there is this bracelet from Ruche.

I love the necklace as is. But a little more personality could not hurt either. :) I like the ruche idea. But others would be a pendant of sorts or a tissue like flower slightly off center. But congrats and keep up the good work! I look forward to more!

Ooh, I like your airy, flower off-center idea, Torie! Great idea!

I like the soft glow of the alabaster. Torie's idea is nice. Another idea could be stringing a green bead (e.g. pearl or crystal) in place of every other knot.

You and Sean take some nice pictures. What do you use?
